Hi Everyone, Nice meeting you all. To follow up. Below is a 1 week old video of a Portland resident raising concerns about the fact that Portland Oregon has never met the EPA LCR, and has never been required to optimize corrosion control, and they are STILL over the EPA action level. They have always been given a waiver by the state primacy agency, and for 20 years the Regional EPA office has looked the other way (despite repeated internal protests by excellent EPA employees). Notice the complete dismissal of the residents legitimate concerns by the water commissioner, and his refusal to even acknowledge the law is not being followed as we speak. I am cc'ing the two residents who have given up years of their lives on this issue, and one of whom is in the video. Every now and then it gets in the press that the law is not being followed, the primacy agency and EPA say they will finally act, and every time once the cameras leave Portland is allowed to do nothing.
