ASBESTOS WORKERS UNION LOCAL It has come to our attention during the past week that subject local has included a demand for a premium of 500 an hour for handling rock or glass wool, in their list of demands for the current contract negotiations. All the employers are standing together in their opinion that not only is the demand completely ridiculous but that such a situation is not a matter for local consideration but for national action if it is to be considered at all.
