Dr. Matuska had com to the eonelusion that this man was not responding to treatment and that the conditions under which he was living were in part responsible for the delay in his recovery. As you will see from my report# I am not altogether certain that this was, the ease, I am rather disposed to believe that this man had some Slight neuritis at the time of his original illness# and that his present disability is in part an enteesi-a. of the original neuritis due to rattier slow development plus a certain amount of flexor contracture, as a residual, in any case I feel that there is very little doubt that the background of this mania disability Is a severe lead exposure in the course of his occupation.* X m sending you herewith my repore on the case. As I have indicated# I felt it necessary in his interest to arrange for his admission to the Cincinnati General Hospital for prompt medical care and observation. So doubt you will have further reports from the medical staff of the General Hospital on his ease.
