REPORT ITEMS - MAY VCM Area Sampling l A second set of four VCM area samples were taken in the bio-disc water treatment area, using. REAL "Minimonitors". Wind velocity ranged from 0 to 5 miles per hour, direction being from north to south. Sampling time was eight hours. This set of sample results agrees with the one in April, both demonstrating the effectiveness of the recently installed ventilation exhaust blowers in reducing VCM levels. Similar measurements taken during 1983 showed results averaging 19.9 ppm and ranging from 0.6 to 87.9 ppm, VCM. No significant drift was seen. Material Safety Data Sheets MSDS were reviewed by the Vinyl Department and the Maintenance Department. Three copies of each MSDS that pertain to the Vinyl Department will be issued to the Vinyl Operations Supervisor.
