Manser, Jr. has been named manager, industrial department of National Lead Company's Nuclear Metals Division, at Albany, New York, succeeding Alex Stewart, Jr. who has recently been named manager of the Nuclear Metals Division and vice president of National Lead Company of Ohio. In his new capacity, Mr. Manser will direct the division's operations con cerned with uranium metal fabrication including applications for shielding, balance weights and fuel elements. Mr. Manser began his company career in 1952 as a chemist at the AEC's Feed Materials Production Center at Fernald, Ohio, for which National Lead Company is contract operator. He was named supervisor of refining technology in 1957* He was transferred to the Albany plaint in 1959 as chemical supervisor and was named produc tion superintendent in 1962 and assistant manager in 1965. Mr. Manser is a graduate of West Virginia Wesleyan College. Mr. and Mrs. Manser and their two daughters reside at 1362 Dean Street, Niskayuna, New York. 0000-NLI-0000246I8
