Despitethematased detectiobnnutsthatresultefdrom thesmallsamplesize,several

detectedind= seramzmlcs. PFOS, PFHS, PFDS, POAA, and M463 were detectedinewh ofthemmples
analyzed,fortheseanalytest,heestimatedetectiohnnut is3 ppb. PFOSAA, M556, and NB70 were
detectedinsome ofthemniples and thedetectionEn-dtisestimatedtobe approximately5 ppb. PFOSA and M513 were notdetectedinarrysampleabove theestimatedetectiolnimitof8 ppb and 12ppb,respecfively.
The averagePFOS concentratiownas 54 ppb,coveringa rangeof31-115ppb. Thesevaluesaresliertly higherthantheaveragevaluesobservedpreviouslfyoradultsand some partofthat(upto lop/om)ay be due touripmvementstothemodifiedmethod usedtoexti= d= samples.
The averagePFHS leveldetemiinedinthesesampleswas 35 ppb acrossa rangeof5-100 ppb. Ibisaverage isapproximately10 timeshigherthanthelevelspreviousloybservedina miau setofadultserasamples.In thosesamples,thehighestvaluedctemiin@ ina non-3M workerwas 13ppb. Itisunlikelythattheminor' mochficationmsade tothearmbrbcalmethod couldaccountforthisdramaticdifferencbeetween thetwo groups ofsamples.
