You will note the membership was almost evenly divided between the length being o.k. or being too short, and many people made a supplemental state ment to the effect that a meeting of two full days or even 2-1/2 days was needed. Also, the consensus would seem to indicate the next meeting in about a year, and in the city. I have not tried to omit duplication in the list of topics for the next meeting but obviously this will have to be done. I presume you will make copies of this for your vice chairman and any others that will wish to receive it, and that we will in turn, wait for notification from you on when we should get together to discuss tentative plans for the next meeting. As discussed at the time of the meeting, I have checked with our legal depart ment on the two points reached. First, is there any legal problem in circu-' lating tapes of meetings to members for their information? Second, is there any legal problem in drafting safety guidelines or criteria through this group? To both questions, our legal department indicated no problem.
