I have ordered an extra copy of "The Biological Effects of Asbestos" which contains the papers presented at the Hew York Academy of Sciences meeting. While I am: waiting for delivery of this booklet, I am sending you a selection of papers from our files. The American Petroleum Institute correspondence is interest.ng because the exposure of their workers would be somewhat similar to your own.
I have been wondering whether a regional meeting of plant physicians from Textile Fibers plants to discuss pulmonary disease would be of value. If there were sufficient Interest, perhaps we could arrange for some outside authorities in various fields of pulmonary disease to talk to the group. This is purely my own suggestion, and I would be interested in your reaction.
