Manona Road Sulphur, Louisiana 70663 Dear Art: As you know, I will retire as Executive Director of the Vinyl Institute and as an employee of the Society of the Plastics Industry Inc. on January 31, 1992. After more than 40 years of employment in the chemical and plastics industry, I now hope to be able to spend more time with my wife, enjoy our four grandchildren, do some traveling for pleasure and play more tennis. In short, I think it is now time for me "to smell the roses". I have greatly enjoyed my contacts with you in the activities of the Vinyl Institute and want to thank you for your assistanc and h lp. I know you share my pride and satisfaction with the growth and accomplishments of the Vinyl Institute in promoting and protecting the industry. One of the real sources of satisfaction in this position has been the friends like you that I have made. While I no longer will be involved in the day-to-day operations and management of the Institute, I look forward to continued contact with you and others in the Institute as I will assume a new role as a consultant/advisor to the Institute through my consulting company, Chemical Management Resources Inc.
