Ryan Hathaway <rhathaway@blm.gov> Mitigation Team, By now most of you have probably heard about the recent Executive Order that revoked the November 3, 2015, Presidential Memorandum Mitigating Impacts on Natural Resources from Development and Encouraging Related Private Investment. And you have likely heard about the March 29, 2017, Secretarial Order 3349 American Energy Independence, which revokes SO 3330 Improving Mitigation Policies and Practices of the Department of the Interior. Several of you have contacted me to ask what this means. I don't have any information for you at this time, but wanted to let you know that we are following the direction in SO 3349 and compiling a list of actions related to the Presidential Memorandum and SO 3330. I'll keep you updated as we go through the process described in SO 3349.
