(Use mass spectrograph for check.) (b) by getting hold of tissues from nature which others say is Aroclor but which ' could be many other compounds. Use mass spectrograph to check vs, known Aroclor results. i 2. Determine a tolerance level for Aroclor in feeding studies. Run a material balance on Aroclor to find out v/here it ends up. '. . 5. Determine v;hether Aroclor is an enzyme inducer which affects steroids and Ca metabolism. (1 really don't know what I am saying here but you can clarify.) M. Keep track of what Govt, research labs are doing in way of testing, plus interpret their results for Monsanto. 5. Keep track of what Govt, research labs are finding in the way of geographical.location of so-called PCB peak3, and in what species of animals. That letter indicates a cost of $2,700 for three of the Aroclors, Toxaphene and controls. Further it indicates that additional materials could be included for $600 per material. Since we are adding additional Aroclor, DDT and chlorinated naphthalene I assume thet the rat tissue study will cost approximately $4,500, Ke are obtaining samples of several chlorinated naphthalenes and will provide you the material to be Investigated. Do you have a readily available source of DDT or shall I get this for you through our Agricultural Chemical Group?
