Dear Mr Miller,
1 he Illinois Lnwronmental Protection Agency (1EPA) intends to conduct a Comprehensive 1 m ironmental Response. Compensation and LiabiIitv Act (CERCLA) Expanded Site Inspection o! the Solutia. lne . W G Krummnch Plant property (Lot B. Lot C. and Lot F) located in Sauget. Pit* I his inspection ts scheduled to occur during the month ot'May. 1999.
During the inspection, em ironmental samples may be collected from soils, sediments, groundwater and or wastes. You will be given the opportunity to receive split samples if you desire 1 he lomial results of this inspection will be documented in an Expanded Site Inspection Report, a copy of which will be made available to you. The approximate number of samples has not yet been determined.
These actiMties will be undertaken by 1EPA personnel authorized to conduct such inspections under the statutory authority of TITLE 1. Section 104(e) of the Comprehensive Environmental Response. Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) of 1980 as amended by the Superfund Amendments and Reauthorization Act (SARA) of 1986
