Perry, Jr., assistant sales manager of the Titanium Pigment Corporation, died on August 27, while on a business trip to Philadelphia. His age was 50. Mr. Perry, who joined Titanium Pigment Co. Inc. in 1928 as a sales man in the Midwest, came to the New York office in 1940, when he assumed the title he held at the time of his death. A graduate of' Lehigh University with the degree of chemical engineer, Mr. Perry was a chemist for several companies before coming to the Com pany . Surviving are his widow, Genevieve Dillenbeck Perry, and a daughter, Jean, of Summit, New Jersey; and two brothers, Ward T. of Philadelphia, and James D. of Charlotte, North Carolina. TITANIUM DIVISION APPOINTS NEW ASSISTANT RESEARCH MANAGER Dr. Sanford S. Cole has been appointed assistant manager of research .for the Titanium Division, effective August 5. He has been with the Titan ium laboratories since 1934. Dr. Cole was an Industrial Fellow at Mellon Institute for Koppers Research Corporation from 1923 to 1932, and received his Ph.D. degree from Pennsylvania State College in 1934. MARK T. LITTLE, FORMER ATLANTIC METAL MAN, DIES Mark T. Little, formerly sales manager of the Atlantic Branch blue lead department, died on July 29- He had retired on February 1, 1941, after forty years of service. Mr. Little began his career with the Company in the Atlantic Works on April. 11, 1899. He became an order clerk in the metal department and was later transferred to the sales staff. VETERAN EMPLOYEES CELEBRATE ANNIVERSARIES Three Company employees completed a combined total of 130 years of service in August. G. V. Vorrall, St. Louis Branch manager, and Charles V. Hill, sales man for National Lead Co. of Massachusetts, have been employed 45 years by National Lead, Mr. Worrall's anniversary being August 23 and Mr. Hill's August 10. George A. Watts, metal department manager at John T. Lewis & Brosi Co. reached 40 years of service on August 15. SOULE ON PURCHASING AGENTS ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE Frank G. Soule, purchasing agent of the general engineering depart ment, was recently elected a member of the executive committee of the Pur chasing Agents Association of New York for a term of three years.
