In recent weeks, ASERCOM has worked together with EPEE and Eurovent to develop a common position for the entire HVAC&R industry. We have contributed our technical expertise to this process and now we are all campaigning together for regulation with a good sense of proportion. ASERCOM REGULATORY UPDATE Common ASERCOM, EPEE and Eurovent position on the refrigeration product bans Together with Eurovent and EPEE, the voice of the refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat-pump industry in Europe, ASERCOM, the European Association of Component Manufacturers for the HVAC&R Industry, has issued an agreed position on the phase down of F-gases in refrigerants. "ASERCOM is the technical authority of the refrigeration and air conditioning component manufacturers. We have analysed thousands of data sets and many findings around technical feasibility and technnological advancement in the HVAC&R industry," says ASERCOM President Marco Masini. "Now we are counting on the EU Parliament to use this science-based foundation to make decisions that effectively advance the decarbonisation of Europe."
