Since the Department of Transportation first passed the Regulations^ governing the packaging, labeling and transportation of Hazardou3sS|&-
Materials, the NAPA member companies have struggled in their attemptte*4~ c to develop compliance programs.

Regulations were first adoptedryou as a possible supplier of these* * materials, have obtained the necessary expertise to assist our member**; NAPA companies in their compliance programs.

To this end we are asking that you complete the attached form as ^it would relate to each, product you distribute through NAPA Dlstrl-"-bution Centers and which would come within the definition of a Hazardous Material as defined In 49 CFR 172.101. Therefore, please photocopy this form and provide answers for each product. * _
Il^yOu, do not supply any products to NAPA Distribution Centers which
are deemed to be Hazardous Materials, then so state on the form enclosed and return the form to us.
In order to keep our files current, please instruct the appropriate people in your organization to forward to this office, any changes to their information that may occur in the future, and to send forms
to us as new products are added that may fall within the definition of this,regul^iofte
