The brain and gastrointestinal tract have potentially high bioconcentration factors due to the lipophilic natureof N-EtFOSE alcohol. The muscle fillet appeared to exhibit the least potential to bioaccumulate NEtFOSE alcohol. The gall bladder showed the highest concentration of N-EtFOSE alcohol There is a potential for excretion of N-EtFOSE alcohol through both urinary and fecal pathways. No signs of toxicity were apparent at the exposure concentration. Moreover, it was also noted that excitability of the test organisms would cause disturbance of the bottom layer and re-suspension of N-EtFOSE alcohol into the water.
