BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CX1Y COUNCIL OP THE CITY OP CHICAGO: SECTION''1, Chapter 17 of the Municipal Code of Chicago, Section 17-3,1. is hereby amended by adding thereto a new defini- tion, to be alphabetically interposed in said section, as follows: . * * Asbestos: A fibrous," rocX-forming mineral includ- ing, but not limited to, such amphibole varieties ^ as tremolite, actlnolitc.^ anthophvllitev grunerite, richterite, edenite, amosite, crocidolite, and such serpentine varieties as amianthus and chrysotile, as well as synthetic asbestos fibers including, but not limited to, fluor-tremolite, fluor-richterite, and fluor-edenite*.
