Stapleton - C1NA Attached is a statement of tha decisions that have baan mada to cover Monsanto industrial Chemicals Company plans with respect to future sales of PCB's and polychlorinated terphenyls. Our Legal Department has approved the attached statement* and it is my understanding that you have also approved it. We are sending you several copies so that you may make any distribution of it you may deem necessary at the corporate level of the company. At the present time we are working closely with the Legal Department to complete the final wording of the various notifications that will be going to our customers as we take actions to implement the de cisions. es Attachments w. ft. Sommer, Bock, Bible and rutzell on November 15, 1971, the following decisions have been taken: 1. Terminate immediately all sales of PCB fluids for use in heat transfer applications by formal notioe to all - customers.
