The following tumours were found: a mesenchymal type of tumour in the lungs (possibly a very anaplastic angiosarcoma), an angiosarcoma of the liver, and a squamous cell carcinoma located in the region of the left ear (this tumour originates very probably from the glands of Zymbal). Gross examination at autopsy of the other rats revealed many tumours or lesions suspected of being tumours, i.a. haemorrhagic or pale nodules in the liver.
