The following Caution Note should be cross referenced in Group 12, Volume I of the Car and Truck Shop Manuals when performing wheel brake repain.
CAUTION:
Dust end dirt condition! prevent on wheel breks assemblies and roton and drums, may contain asbestos fibers that can represent a potential health haatrd when made airborne by deening with compressed air.
All wheel brake assemblies should therefore be cleaned only with a vacuum cleaner suitable for use with asbestos fibers. This type of vacuum cleaner is available through the Rotunda Dealer Equipment Catalog. Oust and dirt from tha vacuum deaner thould be disposed of in manner that prevents dust exposure.
Any repairs done on brake linings, pads, rotors and drums, should be done using properly exhaust ventilated equipment
