THE FOLLOWING PROPOSAL OUTLINES A PLAN POR REDUCING THE LABOR
STAFF IN 85 BLDG. BY 31 PEOPLE. THIS REPRESENTS A NUMBER WHICH
IS TIGHT, BUT WHICH WILL STILL PERMIT SATISFACTORY OPERATION
OF THE DEPARTMENT. IT IS NOT PELT THAT ANY UNREASONABLE DEMANDS
WILL BE PLACED UPON THOSE PEOPLE IN THE DEPARTMENT FOLLOWING
IMPLEMTATION OP THE PLAN.

5.) PARREL REELER PACKAGER:
(6-2) LEVEL 7 REDUCTION 4
CHANGE TO RESLSR OPERATOR:
a.) No longer lceep a record of roll numbers and weights.
b.) No longer has to cut end of run rolls or scrap while
running.
c.) Procedure on box runs will "be the same as on the
Adamson Cal.
d.) Will take care of trim.
6. ) ASST. CAL. OPERATOR:

a.) Create a Lead Operators position.

b.) Fewer product changes.
c.) Install an automatic knife on the north mill
so it can "be moved by the operator at the
south roll.

11. ) MISCELLANEOUS: a.) Consider setting up smoking areas in certain selected operating areas. b.) Consider making a substantial reduction'in the noise level at the dicers. c.) Re-evaluate affected jobs for possible level changes.
