Kehoe The Kettering Foundation University of Cincinnati Eden Avenue Cincinnati, Ohio Lear a ob: If you will recall, in ray paper in Detroit I mentioned the desirability of some simple office test for lead determinations, and chat evening you told me that you or your associates had(devised a simple test which would serve to determine whether there was an increased lead absorption. From your remarks I took it that this was a screening test out not a quantitative test. If the description of tnis test has been pub lished, will you let me know where, or if not, is it possiole that I could have the cetails^of th test? The test you mentioned;would be of great benefit in this office, since I see many cases of alleged lead intoxication but which from the history and the clinical examination are ob viously not. Yet at the present time I must go on with . actual blood and urine determinations to arrive at a con elusive opinion. Thanking you, and with best personal regards, Sincerely, RTJ/lds K.
