Exponent has been appointed as a consultant by the Dutch Institute for Public Health and the Environment (RIVM) to lead a project to investigate the marketplace for PFAS, fluoropolymers and their alternatives that are used in the food sector and also in packaging. An introductory letter is attached. Please find attached three short questionnaires which are aimed at collecting market information. This is in addition to the information you have already provided in the call for evidence which we have. This market information may be very important in determining the direction and scope of the future restriction proposal. The questionnaires are: 1) food packaging and non- food packaging; 2) Kitchenware; and 3) food and feed processing equipment. Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have a compressed timeframe to collect information.
