Street Newark "Boiler Breech Ondercoat-Slab" An x-ray diffraction scan of this sample revealed that it contains an amphibole form of asbestos. Birefringent fibers with the optical and morphological characteristics of asbestos were seen in this sample when analyzed by dis persion staining optical light microscopy. 281 Wash. Street Newark "Boiler Breech Outer Coating1' An x-ray diffraction scan of this sample revealed that it contains chrysotile asbestos. Birefringent fibers with the optical and morphological characteristics of chrysotile asbestos were seen in this sample when analyzed by dis persion staining optical light microscopy.
