Materials that were used/produced in the area include: fuel gas, residue fuel, oir, steam, cycle water, lube oil, caustic. 2. The air, steam and cycle water lines are assumed not in contain any residues after purging. The caustic line (25") has been flushed and is also expected to be free of hazardous residues. The lube oil can be removed to the RBA oil tank for fuel recovery. 3. The 1-1/2" residue fuel line contains an odorous film in the pipe. This will be sampled and tested before this line could be sold as scrap. 4. The 10" fuel gas lines contain a thin coating of a coke/tar residue. This will also be sampled and tested before beingdisposed of. 5. Any water washing of lines or equipment can be bandied in vacuum trucks to the wastewater system. 6. Ash in the boilers will be tested and removed to proper location for disposal based on an analysis. 7. The fire brick will also be tested for heavy n> i.ils and oti.cr CCP.A charac teristics. The flare installation belongs to the Solvents & Acids Unit as required backup to the recently installed incinerator.
