The first one is regarding PYDRAUL stability and I will give you some suggested comments here. The second one is on toxicity and b copy of this memo, 1 am asking Elmer Wheeler to drop you a note in answer. Straight PYDRAUL A-200 can be exposed to 350* to 400*F. for seventy-two hours and shows no significant change of physical properties. PYDRAUL F-9 could show some minor acid build up in five to six hours at 350* F., the exposure they describe. If it did. the acid build up would tend to be autocataltyic. The temperature and time of exposure described are marginal so they might get away with it. If the PYDRAUL F - 9 is already blended with the PYDRAUL A-2Q0, they could try the exposure then send us a sample for analysis, taking the risk of having to discard the fluid. They could do this safely with straight PYDRAUL A-200 and use the blended material in other parts of the plant- -perhaps in the Hydrospin machine if adequate seals have now been provided. / mjt Richard Davis ATTENTION Elmer Wheeler You may be interested in the exposure described on page 2Below that is a question on toxicity of PYDRAUL.
