Navy - Naval Ships Engineering Center REQUESTED BY: Management * PURPOSE: To develop an effective method of testing lint controlled asbestos products vs non-treated asbestos products. SUMMARY '* A procedure for testing lint-controlled asbestos products has been developed. ' A specially constructed machine called the Vibrator Tester is used in this test procedure. Using this tester and the Midget Impinger Method of determining airborne dust particles, results have been obtained that shows our lint-fr'ee treatment to be effective in controlling dust. Comparative results are found in the Appendix.
