Report The aim of the meeting is to provide information on the process regarding the PFHxA and the broad PFAS restriction. The Alliance for Telomer Chemistry Stewardship (ATCS) is representing the fluorotelomer industry. In the past, the fluorotelemor industry was represented by FluoroCouncil, but it split into two different branches: fluoropolymers and fluorotelomers. 2965161 After all participants have shortly introduced themselves, Mr. explained that the PFHxA restriction dossier has been submitted by Germany and ECHA's scientific bodies RAC and SEAC are now drafting their opinions. The Dutch Competent Authority will not discuss the dossier with stakeholders at this stage. After the RAC and SEAC opinion has been sent to the European Commission, a meeting could be considered. Next, Mr. indicated that since the beginning of 2020 the Netherlands is working together with Germany, Norway, Denmark, and Sweden on a broad PFAS restriction dossier. The four Member States together with Norway aim to submit the restriction dossier in 2022. In May, a call for evidence was launched. Mr. thanked ATCS for their contributions. Mr. IEE indicated that the Member States are currently processing the (large amount of) information received in the call for evidence and that he expects that by the end of September, ATCS will be contacted as part of the follow-up phase (Q4 2020) with further questions and/or an invitation to stakeholder meeting(- s) if needed.
