Dear Nancy
It is with regret that I realise my failure as chai r of the seientific committee to set a deadline for the feedback.
On the other hand I ful 1y understand that your schedule is busy and complex and that a fast response is di ffi cul t to achieve. I appreciate very much your supportive reaction. However, we had to move on with the invitation process and we have received confi rmati on from another speaker on the topi c.
What I hope now is that you may consider partici pating the conference without the formal process of a guest speaker invi tati o n . Usi ng the regular abstract submi ssi on process would perhaps give you and/or col 1eagues of your group some addi ti onal ti me for pianni n g .
Agai n , I apologi se for the inconvenience but I do hope that we shal1 fi nd an opportunity to exchange some thoughts about uncertainty analysis.
Ki nd regards, Matthias
