The identifiable populations known to have been exposed to TCDD are the good potential sources of such information. These should include populations involved in the manufacture and use of 2,4,5-T, 2,4-D, trichlorophenol, PCB's, as well as known exposures to TCDD and PCDF. These efforts would be most fruitful as a collaborative effort involving exposed populations in several
*# countries using a common study protocol. The plan should include studies of individual cases, a retrospective epidemiologic component and a prospective epidemiologic program.
