Meeting w/Los Angeles County DPW Hello Scott and Roger, On behalf of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Works, I am respectfully requesting a meeting with Acting Commissioner Murillo and Scott Cameron. Representatives from DPW will be in Washington, DC on Tuesday, March 14 to Wednesday, March 15, 2017. DPW will be doing more to develop local groundwater resources and using storm water capture as a component of water supply. DPW has met with the Southern California Area Office of the Lower Colorado Region. Director Pestrella would like to inform Mr. Cameron and Commissioner Murillo of the County's efforts, discuss Interior's urban water goals, and ways the County can work with Reclamation as DPW becomes more involved in water supply management. Director Pestrella would also like to learn more about implementation of the recently enact WIIN Act.
