At this time we would enter the following report. $ On November 12* 1973 we had to revert to our pre October 1973 Joint Compound formulation. This means our bag producta once again contain aabeatoa fibers. This change la due to poor customer aeceptanee of our ' revised product. Ve have had to recall many shipments of material that ia asbestos free and replace it with the asbestos formula. At this time we are working on a formula correction and would expect to have an improved asbestos free product on the market in the near future. Ve have also reverted to our pre October 1* 1973 procedures to protect our ea^loyees from asbestos fiber exposure. Zt is important that we have the results of your Departments tests of 9/26/73 and 10/26/73 so e can determine if our protective measures are adequate. Our Permanent ftifineerloe and Adsdolstratlve controls ia still on schedule and no problems are anticipated in this regard.
