Dr. Robert A. Kehoe College of Medicine University of Cincinnati Cincinnati, Ohio
Dear Bob :
In reviewing our files, I find the letter >> of November 14, 1934, copy attached, which I wrote
to Mr. Kramme with regard to the discontinuance of the regular periodic examinations of our tank truck drivers.
This letter indicates that this action was agreed upon between the Medical Department and ourselves but apparently the discussion was orally as we find nothing in our files to confirm our Medical Department's decision in the matter.
Just as a matter of record, I would greatly appreciate your giving me a letter to this effect and then I believe our files will be complete on the subject.
Thanks very much.
Yours very truly,

Mr. P. E. Kramme Monroeville, New Jersey
Dear Mr. Kramme:
,
Dr. Machle has examined 'the four ETHYL Tank
Truck Operators and lias found no indication of trouble. x\
'
From their history, far. Machlyhas therefore advised us that the Medicals Department does not feel that it will be necessary to contine./the examination of your drivers except in ease "there should be an accident or any incident in which. the're was a,,definite exposure. In such cases, they shall then-be required to report to us at which time arrangements-will be made for a special examination at 'the duPont 'D'ye' forks Hospital. Will you, therefore, please instruetyyour men accordingly?
With ,the ^'discontinuance of the examination requirement, I am^sure this will give you more flexibility in your selection of drivers from time to time.
Yours very truly, ETHYL GASOLINE CORPORATION
