Hebert Gene Stacy .1 HOURLY SAFETY COMMITTEE ITEMS There were no Items outstanding from the Hourly Safety Committee. .2 BIENNIAL LOSS PREVENTION AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL REVIEW Arnold Glass and Ray Rosenberg have prepared an outline of a proposed method for handling these reviews. This outline will be submitted to the Safety Advisory Committee for their review prior to the next meeting of the Plant Manager's Safety Board. 3. PROTECTION OF PEOPLE FROM SPILLS OR TOXIC MATERIALS The information on hand for the protection of people from spills or gases or toxic materials will be circulated to members of the new committees for review and consideration for appropriate action at this site. Arnold Glass will make copies of the material. 4. ONE-WAY STREET STATUS Leonard Schwab reported that the project to make one-way street around the main office building, office annex, control lab areas was proceeding. The one-way street signs have been ordered and the parking area construc tion south of the office annex building is scheduled to get underway the first week of April. 5. GUEST INSPECTIONS The Committee reported that they had obtained good feedback on the first quarterly housekeeping inspection and that reports had been received from all areas of the plant. The Committee agreed that the program was effec tive and should be continued. .6 NEW AVENUES TO SAFETY AWARENESS PROGRAM The Committee considered a number of details required to finalize the plans for the Count-down meeting to be held on March 30. 7. LADDER SAFETY J. L. Rasmussen and J. M. Tissue will get together to discuss problems related to the purchase and stocking of the proper kind of non-slip feet SC 13412 for ladders.
