A poll of the companies present was taken as to the intent of the member companies to file a Petition of Review with their Circuit Court of Appeals. The following are the responses obtained: Air Products Allied Chemical Borden Chemical Diamond-Shamrock Has already filed They are taking a "wait and see" attitude. No decision, but under active review. Is actively reviewing. If they decide to file a Petition for Review, they would consolidate with other companies in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals. Dow Chemical Ethyl Corporation Firestone Tire & Rubber General Tire B. F. Goodrich Has not filed Petition for Review, but would support SPI in any way as to the best interest of the industry. Has not decided on any action. Has filed. Not filed yet, but will consider consolidation. Will file this week. Most likely to consolidate. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Great American Hooker Olin Pantasote PPG Industries Has not made a decision. Will support SPI. Has filed. Has not decided, but would probably con solidate if they decide to file. Has not filed; will consider consolidation. Has not filed; under consideration. Robbin-Tech Shell Oil Stauffer Tenneco Union Carbide Uniroyal No action. No action. Under discussion. Filed Filed Not considering filing; but if they do, would consolidate. Hiding October IS, 1974 Page 2 Mr. Heckman of Keller and Heckman informed the group that one of the four parties to file for a stay of toe standard cites irreparable damage to their company. Mr. Heckman asked the group whether anyone had objections to SPI filing a Petition for Review and including the member companies supporting SPI. There was only one company that desired their name be omitted from the list. The company was not specified. SPI requested information on the availability of respiratory protection to comply with the January 1, 1975, standard.
