Subject: RE: NAHB Meeting w Administrator Pruitt
Good morning
My name is Cheryl Woodward and I will be your point of contact for logistic of your meeting on Wednesday, March 29 at 3 pm. Below are the instruction/directions to your meeting at EPA. Byron Brown and Sara Greenwait will attending the meeting with the Administrator. We are looking forward to your visit. Please call or email me if yon have any logistic questions.
Directions: If you come by Metro, the Federal Triangle metro stop is directly below the building entrances. You would leave the metro station and go up all three sets of escalators and then do a small U-Turn to the right heading toward 12th street, the North Lobby entrance is directly and immediately to your left (Glass Doors -EPA Signified on Glass).
If you are coming by taxi/vehicle, you want to be dropped off on 12th NW, between Constitution Ave and Pennsylvania Ave. It is almost exactly halfway between the two avenues on 12th street and the Federal Triangle Metro sign can be used as a landmark. From 12th Street, facing the building with the EPA and American flags, walk toward the building (under the flags) and take the glass door on your left hand side with the escalators going down to the metro on your left. This again will be the South Lobby of the William Jefferson Clinton building.
Once inside the building, security will prompt you to scan all items such as bags, coats etc., and then let the guards know that you were instructed to call Cheryl Woodward at 564-1274 or Michelle Hale at 564 1430 to escort you to the meeting with the Administrator. Security will make temporary cards for everyone. Allow for 15 minutes to get through the process.

Hi Michelle & Cheryl - I wanted to clarify some logistics for next Wednesday's 3pm meeting with Administrator Pruitt. My understanding is we should arrive at the WJC North entrance by 2:30pm. Correct?
As you'll see from NAHB's list of attendees below there is a lot of interest from our senior leadership to meet Administrator Pruitt.
While our list of attendees might be large the actual number of topics we would like to discuss with the Administrator is not. In total there four topics we would like to discuss: EPA's path forward rescinding & revising the Clean Water Rule (WOTUS), federal stormwater regulations (MS4s & EPA's Construction General Permit), EPA's Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) program, and EPA's broader efforts on regulatory reform.
I would appreciate if you could share with me a list of EPA attendees, other than the Administrator, who might also attend next week's meeting.
Finally, as I mentioned to Sydney I would appreciate if we could bring a photographer to take a few informal photos of the Administrator with NAHB's leadership just prior to the meeting. Our photographer name is Herman Farrer, please if you need additional contact information for him please let me know.
Mike

Hi Sydney - Can you also tell me if we can bring a professional photographer to take a few photographs prior to the meeting with Administrator Pruitt? I know in the past meetings with the EPA Administrator, sometimes your office had a photographer on hand.
My goal is to have a photograph of the Administrator speaking with NAHB's senior leadership for our Association's various communication platforms.
Thanks again for your help scheduling this meeting.
-Mike

Hi Sydney
Sorry for the delay. We are still working on the paperwork for mid-year and I hope to get that to

you shortly. As for the meeting on Wednesday, topics for discussion include overall regulatory reform, stormwater, lead-based paint, and WOTUS. We do not expect to get into great detail on any of these, just to touch on their importance to the industry, the challenges they pose, and some potential solutions.
I am assuming the meeting on Wednesday is at the EPA offices on Constitution Ave? Pls clarify and notify us of which entrance to use and who to call when we arrive.
I am cc-ing my colleague, Michael Mittelholzer, who will be your primary contact moving forward, but please respond to all so I am in the loop.
Thanks again!

Hi Susan,
Thank you for your email! So on the Mid-Year meeting, would you mind filling out the attached form so that we may discuss in scheduling? And as for the senior executives being in town next week, we actually just had a meeting cancelled at 3PM on the 29th. Is it still possible for your senior officers to meet with him then? It would be from 3:00-3:30 and I would request their names and topic of the meeting. Hoping this still works on your end!
Thank you! Sydney

Hi Sydney!
17cv1906 Sierra Club v. EPA
ED_001523B_00005004-00007
Thanks for the call today. The National Association of Home Builders is very interested in having EPA Administrator Pruitt speak before a larger group of our members. In an effort to accommodate his schedule, we are willing to create a special meeting during our Mid-Year Meeting if the Administrator is available. The timing for the meeting would be Thursday, June 15 at a time that is convenient between 12:30 and 2:30 at the Marriott Wardman Park, 2660 Woodley Road, NW, Washington, DC. We would have an audience of approximately 700 members who are interested in hearing about Administrator Pruitt's vision for the agency, how the agency will address some of the high priority issues, and steps that may be taken to improve the regulatory environment for the Nation's home builders. We would also like to reserve some time for questions, if allowed.
Our Senior Officers would also like to meet privately with Administrator Pruitt. They will be in town and available for a quick visit next week, if a meeting on such short notice is possible. They could be available Wednesday, March 29, between 3-5 pm or Thursday, March 30, between 8 am - 12 pm. They could also be available for a meeting on Wednesday, June 14 or before or after the address to the members on June 15, if that schedule works.
Please take another look at the calendar and let me know what might be possible. I look forward to working with you and the Administrator in the future.
Thanks for your assistance!
Susan
