I'm afraid there isn't a whole lot of information in Moody's. Most of the companies they bought were in plastics or polyester and I never heard of them. One exception was Champlin Oil & Refining Co. Other possibles were Devoe & Raynolds Co., Western Chemicals Ltd., Chemcell Ltd., British Paints Ltd., and Federal Enameling & Stamping Co. (FESCO, Inc.). Fiber Industries, Inc. was partly owned by Celanese and Imperial and they operated the Shelby, NC plant. Celanese had plants in Mexico, Columbia, Venezuela, Peru, and Belgium. Very sketchy on Imperial. Affiliates in the USA were Fiber Industries and Rubicon Chemicals, Inc. Formed Ictal Plastics Ltd. with Celanese in 1963. In 1964 formed with Phillips Petroleum the Phillips Imperial Chemicals Ltd. in Australia. Imperial had joint operations with du Pont in Canada until 1954.
