Hi Jahan, this is what I'm working with for Monday - thanks!
KENTUCKY McConnell, Pruitt on Monday, October 9th
7:30am Penn will send media advisory (No mention of Pruitt) to inform local EKY and Lexington media of the perspective events and collect Media RSVPs - Penn will relay RSVPs to McConnell State DirectorTerry/EPA/KY Farm Bureau.
EKY: Jeff Vanderbeck + his reporters (His paper now owns 5 newspapers in EKY), WYMT-TV, EKB-TV, EKB-Radio, Ronnie Ellis, Adam Beam, Bruce Schreiner
LEX: Local TV stations, Lexington Herald-Leader, The Lane Report, local radio, Ronnie Ellis, Adam Beam, Bruce Schreiner, Al Cross
STOP #1 IN HAZARD COAL
10:15a E T - 11:15a ET
Pending confirmation: Do you have a Pruitt staffer who can do the media check-in and wrangle them to
stay in the designated area/keep an eye on them? If not, Terry can work with Pruitt team on site to arrange. This person will instruct to call Penn if a media outlet shows up without RSVP. At event, all media ideally will be set up in one spot towards the back which will provide wide angle shot of event - with of course the probability of media milling around.
After the event itinerary on stage, MM etc. will work the crowd and take photos with people, then exit. NO PRESS GAGGLE.
Pending confirmation: 11:30a WYMT-TV one-on-one interview @ LD Gorman Office.
STOP #2 IN PARIS/LEXINGTON AGRICULTURE
2:15p ET - 3:30p ET
KY Farm Bureau will do the media check-in and wrangle them to stay in the designated area/keep an eye on them. KYFB will instruct to call Penn if a media outlet shows up without RSVP.
NO PRESS GAGGLE, no one-on-ones.
