This is an excellent summary, and I would only conraent on the statement made on page 5 regarding the 1949 Russian study. This leaves the impression that the problem was related to vinyl chloride ejqjosure, when in fact this must have been quite small, and was thought by the author of the article to be due to the polychlorobiphenyl plasticizer and poor industrial hygiene. He is employed thru a local supermarket convenience store chain, and his exact duties are not knovm by the neighbors interviev;ed. He is married and lives in a mobile hone, and has two children. CURRENT ASSETS AND INCOME; Subject is said by the neighbors to am his property which he obtained thru some type of unorthodox manner. He lives in a mobile home on this propertjr, and owns an old model Dodge, tag ,1-28-4343. He is not known to own any real estate at any other location and we were unable to develop any other assets or income. The neighbors indicated that he acquired the property on which he lives when he had flim-flammed an 80-yr-old woman who was in a rest home. They indicated that he had told this individual that he 'was going to maintain the property for her while she was in the rest home, and had her sign a so -called contract for him to mow the grass and keep up the property. However, in all actuality and unknowing to this woman, this was a transfer of title for the property. STEPS TO LOCATE: He began this investigation by proceeding to Zephyrhills, Fla. from our Tampa Office and went to Simmons Rd. Me spoke with Hr. Upon arriving at this residence, we contacted Mrs. Coachtree in the presence of her sister, Mrs, Wilma. Carter. It is apparent that there is some sort of difficulty in this family towards this youth. They were not free in giving out information and they were rather hostile in the beginning of the investigation. It is apparent there is considerable hard feel ings between the claimant and his family. Mrs, Coaks did most of the talking during the entire interview. She stated that the last occassion she had to personally see claimant was approximately five years ago. However, she had been informed by a party, who had been in the Tampa, Fla* area that she had seen a person and talked with a person who indicated that he was from Ellisville, Miss, and that he fit the description. She gave a description of the youth as being of average height with red hair, a scar over his eye, which had some sort of dark material in the scar giving it an unusual appearance. He wore glasses, had flaming red hair, and spoke of living in the area of Ellisvilleand marrying a person from that location. He would not give his name to the party who had spoken to him in Florida. 'They stated he had been at that location for a period of some two or three years and was working in a drugstore. The description fit the claimant and they were almost certain that this was the subject. He had not communicated in the form of a telephone or by letter since he left the area over five years ago. We then proceded from that point to the Post Office where we spoke with Mr. Neill, a Post master. Mr. Neill had little or no information indicating that he knew of the youth, but had not seen him in some time, 7/e are asking our office in Tampa, Florida to attempt :o locate subject at the Quik-Stop type grocery store and drugstore, which is located adjacent to the Town & Country Sub-Division in Tampa, Florida. This small shopping center will be located near an airbase. The claimant was s working at that time in a drugstore at that point in this small shopping center and had apparently been there for some time. These sources could not furnish us with a residence address of subject at the time. However, we have obtained a photograph of the claimant dated 1956-57 school year, 7/e are forwarding this to our office in Tampa, Fla. so that they might be able to identify subject if he is going by a different name. The only other lead we have been able to determine ifi the fact that the claimant's mother lives in the com munity of Magee, Miss., which is between Mt. Olive and Jackson. Her last name is Crowder, v/e are unable to determine her first name. We are not asking our office in Jackson tohandle at that point due to the fact that we are unable to give sufficient identification to follow through at that location. V/E wish to give you the complete investigation at th is time* V7E began this investigation by going to Laurel, Miss, at which time we found an address showed as 10th Ave. in Laurel, Miss* V7e checked the cross-reference directory informati on operator and found no listing of the subject. 7/E then checked in the cross-reference directory and we found the address on 10th Ave. as listed in name of Mrs. 31ackledge. WE attempted to contact Mrs. Blackledge, Mrs. Blackledge was not available. 7/E then contacted Firs. Smith adjacent to the residence in Laurel and we found that this source could give us little or no information indicatin g they remembered a rental apt. in the a djacent residence but she could give us no information on your claimant. V7E then contacted the address of Mrs* Blackledge and found her at the residence. Mrs. Blacldedge then informed us that the claimant George Adeli Barnett, had indeed lived at that address, had liv ed at that address up until approximately 1965. She stated she had asked the subject and his wife to move, she would net elaborate indie ated that the subject did not leave any forwarding address and had not seen or heard of him since then. She did stated that the subject had been employed by the Johnson's Drug Store in the city of Laurel prior to moving from the area. With this information we proceeded to the cou rthouse in Laurel, Ms. WE contacted the circuit' clerk's office in effort to determine if the subject had registered to vote or had a marriage license issued to him. WE found that the subject did net have a registration to vote however in checking with the total with the circuit clerk in laurel, Ms we found that they had no record of a marriage license tat that point. It was noted that from ther e previous interview with Mrs. Blackledge, former landlady, she informed us that subject had married a girl from the area of Ellisville. Jones Co. is an unusual count y * in Mss. as it has two county seats. The circuit clerk called the office in Ellisville, Miss, at that point they checked the marriage license and found the subject had married in I960 which time we developed the name of the mother-in-law and -he name of the v/ife. This was Mrs. Wilma Carter, who was the mother--in--law of subject. WE then contacted the residence of mother--in-la w, Mrs. Wilma Carter of Ellisville, Mss. Mrs. Carter was not cooperative in this interview, she declined to give us any information indicating we must come to the residence of her sister-in-la w a Mrs. Coachtree, v/e could get no further informatio n from t he mother-in-law.
