The D onor shall pay the U niversity th e re fo r the sum of T h irty T housand F iv e H undred D o lla rs in two equal in sta llm e n ts, one on the ex ecu tio n of th is co n tract, the o th er on O ctober l , 1954. On com pletion of the w ork ag reed upon, including the p re p a ra tio n and su b m issio n of re p o rts , the U n iv ersity sh all refund to the D onor any unexpended balan ce of any paym ent rem ain in g , o r sh all apply the balance to the continuance of such s im ila r w ork as m ay be ag reed upon as d esirab le. . 3. The nam e of the U n iv ersity o r of the L a b o ra to ry o r of any m e m b e r, o ffic e r o r em ployee of the U n iv ersity o r the L a b o ra to ry , sh a ll not be u sed in & 2. any ad v ertisin g m a tte r a t any tim e during the p ro g re ss of the w ork or th e re a fte r. If the findings a re published in a scien tific jo u rn a l, the D onor sh all be fre e to quote such findings subsequent to publication. 4. The in v e stig ativ e w ork sh a ll be planned and c a rrie d out by th e U n iv ersity , and the U n iv ersity sh all have th e rig h t to d isse m in a te fo r the public good, any inform ation obtained. The name of the University or of the Laboratory or of any member, officer or employee of the University or the Laboratory, shall not be used in any advertising matter at any time during the progress of the work q t thereafter* A written report shall be made of the findings and such a report or a photostatic copy thereof may be used by the Donor as evidence of the facts established* If the findings are published in a scientific journal, the Donor shall be free to quote such findings subsequent to publication. 4. The investigative work shall be planned and carried out by the University, and the University shall have the right to disseminate for the public good, any information obtained. How ever, before the issuance of public reports or scientific publications, the manuscripts thereof will be submitted to the Donor for criticism and suggestion, 5. No person shall be required to make an application for patent based on any invention, discovery or development re sulting from any investigative work under this Agreement. IN WITNESS WHEREOF the parties hereto have executed this Agreement by their proper officer, respectively, who are hereby certified to have been duly authorized to execute the same.
