TEBMUSAL p ipe Fims HAY 18, 1944 IN REPLY r e f e r t o CPBiES d at e 6/14/14 Referring further to our letter of May 29th on the above case, ____ I has continued to improve to such an extent that he has been dis charged from the Philadelphia General Hospital and is now convalescing at his home* He is, of course, still in a weakened condition and is under the care of his family physician. We were in touch with Dr. John J. Roinhold of the Philadelphia General Hospital today and he stated that in this morning's mail he had re ceived the analysis of fM^MPblood samples, which he forwarded to Dr. Eehoe. The analysis showed two out of the three samples did not show any lead content above normal, however the third sample was apparently con taminated and the content of lead was abnormally high. Dr. Kelnhold said that due to a misunderstanding, a urine analysis was not taken end as ^0|vae not in the hospital he was not in a position to secure urine samples, as Dr. Eehoe requested. In view of this, ve are making arrangements with Dr. George Rouse, Jr. to take the urine specimens and forward them to Dr. Eiehoe. Incidentally, it was also our understanding that Dr. House was also to receive a copy of Dr. Kehoe's analysis but up to thiB time he states it has not been received. The analysis of the blood samples taken by Dr. Reinhold vhen^^^^H was in the hospital has not been completed end frankly, ve do not feel w^ceua depend on that source for any further information an this case. Other than securing the urine samples for Dr. Eehoe, we do not believe there is anything further to be done and in the event there are new developments, shall promptly advise you. E. F.
