Raviland -#1 mmm.ShWM^m^Jmumm^XrM^bSL ** * ^Kingston --#tr. W. M. Tome We have completed our work on the development of Y-2251 Qlldden Rouse Paint Primer to make it lead-free. The cost savings is 210 per gallon, we are recommending that the formula be sent to Chicago Midwest Trade Bales to manufacture the first batch. We have recently learned they are using the last of thslr lead pigment W-421. As soon as a batch has been made in Chicago and approved by Mr. Koenig# we ask that a sample be sent to my attention. We will then recommend sending the formula to the other regions. In the meantime# Mr. Raviland can be working with the purchasing agents of the other plants to phase-out the stocking of W-423. jm/rnh J. H. Southwick
