Discard the fluid (Do not use suction tools used for steering reservoirs or any petroleum based product). Raise the vehicle and remove the wheels for the axle being serviced. Compress the caliper piston(s) in their bore until they bottom, using the recommended procedure outlined in the vehicle Workshop Manual. TIP: Open the bleeder screw before compressing the caliper piston to keep brake fluid from being forced back into the HCU.
