Cconoco) Interoffice Communication To R. D. Gamblin From J. c. Lunn, Jr. Date May 6, 1974 subject Status of VCM Sampling Emission Reduction and Priority Selection For Future Design The following VCM sample emission reduction system designs have been issued. 1) C-203 Reflux Sample (P-204 A/B) 2) $-207 A/B Drier Samples 3) T-401 A/B/C Check Tank Samples (P-401 A/B) Sample system equipped with a temporary vent stack. 4) T-411 A/B/C/D Sphere Samples (P-411 A/B/C) Sample system equipped with a temporary vent stack. 5) Rail Car Dip Tube Vents and Sampling Installation now in progress. Additional design work on sample emission reduction systems will continue based upon the following sample priorities. Priority I - Samples which contain significant amounts of VCM. 1-1 VCM Ship Samples - Work now in progress. 1-2 C-202 Bottoms Sample 1-3 C-201 Reflux Sample 1-4 VCM Tar Still Overhead Sample 1-5 T-401 A/B/C Head Gas Samples 1-6 T-411 A/B/C/D Head Gas Samples 1-7 P-490 VCM Vent Recovery Sample 1-8 C-102 Reflux Sample 1-9 Light Ends Tank and Drier Samples 1-10 PRC-309 Sample 1-11 T-101 Vent Gas Sample 1-12 S-309 Gas Sample 1-13 C-202 Overhead Sample Priority II - Samples which contain VCM in lower concentrations.
