The attached tabulation of test results gives per formance comparisons for S-218A CS-l6o/s-l4l/DIBP 75/15/10), S-885 (S-160/DIBP 90/l0), and Benzoflex 50 in National Starch's vinyl acetate emulsion (Resyn 25 1011). This is the data I gave you by phone on December 15. According to this data our plasticizers perform well. Although the vola tilities of S-218A and S-885 are somewhat higher than the Benzoflex 50, we offer slightly lower viscosity with S-218A and slightly higher viscosity with' S-885. Viscosity stabilities and wet tack are equal,.and tensile properties are improved. As you observed during our telephone conversation the poor elongation with Benzoflex 5 before 75 aging suggests that it does not give-,complete resin solva tion during room temperature aging.
