Dear Dr. O'Connor, Further to our telephone conversation of 18th June, I wish to advise that: 1) We should be able to complete estimation of the expected numbers of cases of asbestos induced disease in the ex-Wittenoom workforce within' the next three months provided that we can obtain the services of a statistician for that period. We do not have available to us the resources necessary to employ such a person ana would be grateful if you could consider making a grant of about $4,000 to cover this cost. 2) Michael Hobbs and 1 would be available for a meeting with staff of CSR in Sydney in the evening on either the 6th July or the 12th August should this be of assistance to you.
