On July 15, 1967 the balance of our loans from Metropolitan, amounting to $1,090,000, and from Mutual, $250,000, are due for payment in accord ance with the terms of the loan agreements. (Installments of $250,000 to Metropolitan and $50,000 to Mutual will be paid July 15, 1966.) We asked both insurance companies what terms they would offer for prepayment on July 15, 1966 of the final installments due one year later. Metropolitan offers no discount but Mutual would sell us the notes at a price of .97. This discount plus interest savings at 2.7i would yield just snort of 5.9* on the prepayment to Mutual. We recommend that the final $250,000 installment of the Mutual loan due 1 July 15, 1967 be prepaid on July 15, 1966 and request your permission to M/ do so. Mutual has asked that we advise them of our decision by July 8. /'
