Reports of three cases of dermatitis apparently due to contact -with dyes used in coloring commercial gasoline are presented. Search of the literature reveals no precisely similar reports. The three cases presented demonstrate that the azo-dyes are capable of producing primary sensitization, and are also capable of eliciting a reaction of cross sensitization with chemically related compounds.
