Sanborn visited the Milam Oil Corporation oil and gas facility located at latitude 33.174655 and longitude -92.593323 near El Dorado, Arkansas on 11/06/2019 for an unannounced inspection. There were no representatives of Milam Oil Corporation present for the inspection. The inspection was conducted by authority of the Clean Water Act and the Safe Drinking Water Act to determine compliance with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations. FACILITY DESCRIPTION This facility is known as the Van Hook tank battery. Section II - OBSERVATIONS I observed oil in the tank battery secondary containment pit. Section III - AREAS OF CONCERN The secondary containment pit was inadequate, and oil was present in the pit.
