Corey B2SL As you know, the Food ft Drug Administration proposed re gulations relating to PCBs on March 18, 1972. To date, these regulations have not been published in their final form. Because of the length of the elapsed time, I believe it is appropriate that we review the status of our action plan. 1 Drafts of letters to heat transfer fluid customers and to hydraulic fluid customers were prepared, re viewed and comments submitted. 2 Mailing lists have been reviewed by Paul Oann and are readily available. As soon as the regulations are available the following must be completed: 1. Law Department: Review drafts of proposed customer letters. 2. Marketing: Review hydraulic fluids customer mailing lists to eliminate those customers that are obviously not affected by the regulation (e.g. General Motors, Ford). 3. Marketing: Arrange for mailing of the approved letters. Warren Easley has been contacting Nr. John Wessel, FDA, to determine the status of the regulations and has been told that an amendment to the environmental impact state ment is being prepared and will be issued at the same time as the regulations.
